Which Platforms Is Final Fantasy Resonance On?

Final Fantasy Resonance launches on all major current platforms. Here’s the confirmed list, straight from official sources, plus the save-transfer and subscription caveats that matter before you buy.

One clarification: Square Enix’s European store only lists the physical Switch, Switch 2, and PS5 versions. That reflects what the EU store sells physically, not a missing Xbox or PC version — the official announcements cover all six platforms above.

Save Transfer and Cross-Save

What’s confirmed and what isn’t:

• Switch ↔ Switch 2: save data does not transfer between the two versions. This is a confirmed restriction.
• Xbox Play Anywhere: covers the Xbox and Windows Microsoft ecosystem, with cloud saves.
• General cross-platform save (PlayStation ↔ Xbox ↔ Switch ↔ Steam): not announced.

Don’t assume your progress carries across ecosystems beyond what’s stated above.

Subscription Services

There is no announced Day One launch on Xbox Game Pass or PlayStation Plus as of this writing. A store listing being available doesn’t mean it’s included in a subscription — we’ll update this page if either service is confirmed.

The game is officially listed as single-player, and no multiplayer mode has been announced.
