Final Fantasy Resonance Editions Compared: Which One Should You Buy?

Final Fantasy Resonance ships in three editions. The short version: buy Standard if you only want the game, Digital Deluxe if you want the in-game item pack, and Collector’s Edition if you want the physical art book and soundtrack. Here’s the full comparison.

Standard vs Digital Deluxe vs Collector’s Edition

Standard Edition ($49.99) — the complete game, nothing more. Pre-order and early-purchase bonuses apply, but those are purchase-timing rewards, not Standard-exclusive content.

Digital Deluxe Edition ($59.99) — the full game plus the Magitek & Grimoire Deluxe Pack:

• Magitek Armor Key
• Archwitch’s Grimoire
• Mastery Ring
• Tent ×5, Mist Potion ×5, Mist Ether ×5, Phoenix Down ×5, Remedy ×3

Important Notes Before You Buy

• European pricing: the EU Square Enix Store currently lists Standard “from €59.99” — regional pricing differs from the US MSRP.
• Japanese Collector’s Edition: priced at ¥25,500 and offered for Switch 2, Switch, PS5, plus a special Steam version that pairs a Digital Deluxe Steam key with the physical collectibles (a different structure from the US/EU physical game Collector’s Edition).
• Japan e-STORE bonus: Japanese e-STORE orders include a limited “giant Cactuar” sticker bonus not listed in the US/EU Collector’s contents.
• The $150 Goods Box is sold out — and that’s a separate item from the $209.99 Collector’s Edition. A sold-out Goods Box doesn’t mean the Collector’s Edition is sold out.
• Physical availability: US and EU stores offer physical Switch, Switch 2, and PS5 versions, with Standard and Collector’s Edition options. There’s no announced Xbox physical Collector’s Edition.
